Arno:

Posting european prices and shipping costs doesn't help us on this side of the pond. It only creates confusion.
Shipping rate of 530 CZK (about usd$21.00) giving to you by Matej
is NOT realistic unless you do live 5 minutes away of their factory,

I can't tell from the photo, is this a 2, 3, or 4 piece wing?

Don't have the precise answer, as yet, but I believe this is an much improved
Mandarin...if so, it's a 2 pc wing

2m wing halves too long for my car, otherwise sounds like a good value large sailplane.

Radian:

To keep the wing loading low you need to eliminate extra weight as much as
possible.
Recommended motor for this Competition e-Glider is the Mega AC 16/25/F5J

We'll be offering a package of: e-Glider + motor + ESC + Battery pack

Also offering servos, receivers and anything extra needed,

Im verry much interested in the aladin. I own a Mandarin and its flown many times and im happy with it. Only the wing and the fusestab is soft.

But Aladin: What servos are needed? Do you have an idea how deep the wing is in the middle and the wing area? Are the wing stronger (stiffer) then mandarin?

This is so cool.
Would be nice if you could also edit the manual to give us an idea of the recommanded drive, servos,...

This is what Reichard suggested in the manual:

Motor: dia. 36mm, 300 to 400 Watts, Weight: 80 to 150 gros
Battery: 3S 1000 to 1500mAh
Servo HS-81 for elevator and rudder
HS-125MG, HS-81 for aileron
HS-125-MG, HS-82MG for flaps

Robert R.

Thanks for the information Robert. Thought the fuselage was narrower and could only accomodate a 28 mm motor.
I'm looking forward to the unboxing and your opinion on the overall quality of the kit.

My first impression is positive.... considering the rather low price for such a good looking model!

As you already noticed, Reichard info of motor dia. is wrong. Fuselage is made for a 32mm spinner. ( I am going to use a gear set up.)

Regards,
Robert R.
