FrSky Horus Update


FrSky Horus is expected to be released around Christmas of 2015.

We will introduce two versions for choice, the X12 and the X12S. Specifications will follow next week.

This thread will be kept up to date. Should there be any news or progress, we will post the information here.

Could you please post some pictures of the X12 and X12S gimbal and any other pictures you have so we can see what the production systems look like.

Specifications for X12S are as below:
Audio speech function
16 channels (up to 32 channels)
Full telemetry and real-time data logging
Antenna detection and SWR warning
Inbuilt antenna as default, external antenna could be added (for internal RF module)
Receiver match
Inbuilt 6-axis sensors (3-axis gyro and 3-axis accelerator)
Industrial high resolution IPS screen (480*272), readable outdoor
All CNC gimbal with 6 ball bearings, accuracy hall sensor and extensible by stick ends
Safe power switch with integrated strap base
Inbuilt GPS module
Inbuilt wireless trainer system
Two types of trainer ports
Newly designed internal RF module IXJT with lower latency and higher stability
External module bay
MP3 player
Haptic feedback
NiMH batteries with inbuilt charging circuit
6 position encoder for easier flight modes switch
FrSky FrTX operation system installed as default
Open source firmware supported
