The Race-Winning Warpath Pro - CNC Cut

Any of you that race large-scale gas boats should recognize the Warpath Rigger as a podium-placing hydro at almost every big race. The Warpath Pro is made of high quality 1/4" and 1/16" birch that's CNC cut, with hardwood blocks that must be shaped by the builder. For making the build easier, CNC cut sponson foam cores are available. The Warpath Pro kit includes cowl and turn fin, and retails for $400.

It depends on the class if you're racing: usually a Zen G260 based modified-motor. I run a pro-mod G260 in a few boats, and also a pro-mod stroked to 29.5cc. A modified 26cc up to 29.5cc are going to be your best starting point for being competitive. If you just want to cut hot laps on a "budget", you could run a stock Zen G260 but it wouldn't see it's full potential.

Yes, Stu makes a gas Crapshooter. He wouldn't have made one until CMB came out with a gas engine in which they did.

I was just strolling threw the Boat Articles and I ran into this one and ***THERE IT WAS***.............. The name Crap Shooter.... This surely brings back my old days, because this is where I got my start in RC... I was a Member of the Lone Star Model Boat Club two different times... Once when they first started racing just North of Houston and Then again when they Moved to Crosby Tx....

And If you know Crap Shooter Boats then you know this Man.... I think they used to call him Frenchie........ I took these pictures in 2003 at one of our IMPBA races.... Way back in the day.... lol..........

A lot of gas rigger racers are now running Marc LeVac's Warpath's so yes, it's a very good boat.
