UDI tempo 17... brushed atomic barbwire/pro boat recoil? (same as react 17)

So the current issue of RC boat has a mini review of thus little boat, and it bears a more than striking resemblance to the atomic barbwire/ pro boat recoil, only it's brushed and its around $50.... Anyone tried one?

Well, there are some small differences it seems when compared to the recoil.... But, when comparing the tempo to the new react 17, its a 100% match, even down to the battery connector, for $45 cheaper.... Even the transmitter is the same with different stickers....

Biggest advantages of the Barbwire is a flex cable drivetrain and aluminum rudder. The Barb is a clone of the Joysway MonoX. The Tempo looks similar, but is far from.

Proboat React 17 / UDI007 Battery Adapter

Ive been talking to Glen at RC Connectors about making up an adapter for the UDI007 / Proboat REACT 17 ESC connector to either a standard red JST connector or EC3 connector . This would allow you to use your standard red JST or blue EC3 2 cell LiPO batteries rather than the expensive stock one with the non standard type connector.

Just let me or Glen know your interested and if we get enough interest and a few orders he will make up a batch of both styles.

Thanks
Dennis
