That charger only charges at 400mah. This means for a 3000mah pack it would take over 7 hours to charge
You need to get something that charges up to 3 amps. Or at least 2 amps.

Gorilla glue is ok but I used Shoe goo on mine and it hold very well.

3 cells. The cell count is figured on how many series cells. The parallel cells are just for more capacity.
You do NOT want to charge a 3s2p pack as 6 cells. It will ignite very quickly. Ask me how I know.

Only problem is it has a jst connector and you will need a deans with the bigger packs.
May work but you'd have to change the connector.

No probluem i will pick some up

Also: Do the aileron servos each have there own slot in the RX when using the 555 hitec RX recomend by HL? I have a 4 ch. futaba RX that i would like to use so i would need a Y cord for the ailerons right? (The RX has 4 slots)

Yea, with a 5 channel they get their own slot.
With a 4 you need a y cord.

I suggest getting the 5 channel though. It gives you the ability to control them independantly so you can have flaperons or spoilerons mixed in for fun.

4 channel will work but leaves no options.

If you get the outrunner that HL puts in the package, it doesn't have wires, just solder points so you solder the esc wires directly to it.
The deans male will go on the battery leads on the esc.
If you get the 2 kokam packs you will need a way to put them together. If you are very confident in your solder skills you can make them into one pack. If not you can make a small adapter from some deans con and a little wire. Or you can buy the parallel circuit from HL which they just plug onto.
I soldered my packs directly into one pack to save weight, but it can be risky.

what type of transmitter do you have?
If it doesn't have the mixes I spoke of there is no use getting the 5 ch receiver.
