Thanks for the fast shipment Bob!

How different is it to work with those blue MPF foam than depron? Are they just as easy to shape/sand? I've build a EDF jet with MPF foam years back but it wasn't 3D with curves which didn't require sanding. I guess you have to peel off the plastic backing first?

errr umm blue ??
MPF is always WHITE and ~6mm thick and 24" x 48"

Mike will send you nice big box full ( 16) sheets.
But, I am concerned about the upcoming June 26 USPS rate changes
and how it "might" affect all of the Foamy businesses' . They are adopting DIM.

As far as Depron vs MPF ...
I find MPF more resilient and pliable.
It is more easily Bent.
Lockey has several videos of his Bending techiniques which also apply to MPF .

Depron ,while stiffer or more brittle, WAS a little better regarding Surface quality.
Even so, RFOAM had to do a lot of sorting to provide that level of surface quality.

Regardless , I try to create all my Foamy designs to be Symmetrical.
That way builders can arrange parts to place any surface imperfections on the INSIDE.

However, since WE can no longer get REAL DEPRON any discussion is MOOT !
The Manufacturer, Seilitec DE, refuses to supply it to us !

Current so called Depron is NOT REAL DEPRON !
And that which I have sampled does NOT SAND well.
More like Shredding IMHO !

So, MPF is the ONLY choice.

MPF has only ONE source. No other manufacturer is willing to accommodate our needs.
However, even that source is a bit entrenched as to their willingness to modify their "Process" .
So WE must be satisfied with what we get from the low volume production runs for Modeling use.

That said MPF has a couple of grades, but ,only because Mike takes the time to hand SORT.

Ok I stand corrected. I was thinking of the bluecor foam sheets that I used to buy from Lowes for building parkfliers. I've never worked with MPF but that looks like a great material to work with. Looking forward to the build!
