I was just watching O'Riley and the question posed to Cruz was" Are your going to try and stop the budget bill tomorrow" Cruz never did answer the question. He then went on to smack down these Bozos

I think Cruz calling out the Moderators was the highlight of the debate. I hope they learned what the American people feel about their asinine questions by the applause when Cruz called them out and by repeated Booing they got from the audience.

The media bias toward the Democrats goes all the way back to the Kennedy/Nixon election and the first ever televised debate. Kennedy was the media darling and the bias was definitely there. Yes, the trend away from that BS needs to be there. The comment Rubio made about the media being the most powerful superpac for the Democrats is true... and has been since the beginning. The trend needs to go to the center. The media isn't full of journalists anymore... it's full of entertainers that want to give their opinion and sway the country to their agenda. Anyone that thinks they don't have an agenda is lying to themselves. The liberal media is responsible for the decline of the country, the middle class, and the mounting debt, because they have pushed their agenda, and their darlings upon us for so long. Mt sister-in-law and mother-in-law have neither cable nor the internet. They have no idea what's really happening. They have believed, until recently, that the Democratic Party was going to be their savior. We have recorded the debates and let them watch... and like anyone but the scarecrow... they are appalled at the VERY OBVIOUS media bias.

I always liked it when someone called out the media. I have been aware of the media's bias since the '70s. That awareness turned me from a liberal to a conservative. The bias can be subtle but these days is glaring... like the arrogant attitudes of the CNBC moderators. The last time someone spoke down to me in such a way, he bled. I was cheering when Senator Cruz put them in their place, like the audience. But, from your post, I can see that you are among those about whom it was written.... "They have ears but will not hear, and eyes but refuse to see..."

How many years is that, there was a time in this country when the media were small local independent papers and radio stations, most regional news was broadcasted on theater screens before the movies started, and they usually reported the news, they didn't invent it and they didn't lie about it.
Way back might mean the '60's when colleges were pumping out socialist propaganda and academic thinkers who thought it there job to mould minds instead of just informing them on currant events.
To be fair it's always been the job of the press to put out a hue and cry when the public welfare was threatened, mainstream media today has lost sight of their responsibility, they've been corrupted by left leaning progressive education and taken on the montra of the socialist progressive left, which is "The means are always justified, big government is always right, and liberal/progressive/socialist know better what's good for individual Americans than they themselves do", and it's the media's job to convince them of it.

This country needs a serious purge if it hopes to continue to exist as a bastion of liberty based on individual freedoms and small government.
