Hi Alex,

I am very much enjoying the Super Viper Turbine. Thanks for featuring the video of my flight on your website!

Are you going to sell the turbine ready version of the F-16 soon? I may just want the turbine ready version and add my own turbine. Thx!

Even that isn't fast enough
The specs on your link are for the Super Viper. What will this one weigh in turbine form?

Pretty cool but, at $1,260 for the turbine-ready version, too expensive for my taste.

very cool, but costs almost like a full composite one.

I was really looking forward to buying this F16. However, for the price without the turbine is a bit too much for a foamy. I do not think the cost of the tailpiece, wood formers, and the two plastic fuel tanks justify the higher cost compared to the RTF EDF version. Hopefully they will drop the price.

This price makes absolutely no sense. $888 RTF for the EDF. Take away the EDF, motor, and speed control and the F16 would be $600. But they want twice the price for the turbine version!!! For a wood mount and a tailpipe. Turbine flyers arent stupid. Revise your price.

I was hopping Dragon Hobby would add a post reply as to why the price is so high. It might have other items that we are not seeing from the photos, but unless they explain it we will not know.

Seems there are quite some improvements needed.

Looks like plane is tail heavy and very roll sensitive. Canopy and front retract are certainly have to be reinforced.

I made an airplane
There is also a test start-up image.
Perhaps there will be a lot of difference between haves released from HSD.
After the first flight problems are discovered and is waiting for it a little more reinforcement.
Maybe a nice flight is expected.

But at least they are honest and tell you what to expect. I was fed up with BananaPete videos aimed for noobs to buy an edf and crash it on maiden. "It's so gorgeous, it flies so well!"

maybe it needs some extra work and trial. certainlythey won't be able to send a turbine ready planw without some trial on the plumbing at least. you also need a UAT tank. so I guess there is much more labour in building an EDF kit than a turbine one. it's not just the cost of the material. also if it's also heavier the shipping costs may rise though this may not apply as I think that we are talking about volumetric shipping cost which should be the same

I just purchased the F16 without the Turbine. I think it might fly better with a Lambert T35 it weighs a lot less and needs less fuel.

the landings Ive seen on on the two clips both come down with Idle. it may be also nose heavy.
the F-16 acts like a typical F-16. no tip stall.. just sinking... a little more power would have done the job for a better landing. it may be a foamie but it's still a heavy plane.
