Fokker Dr 1 scale 50%


Hello,
Sorry my english is very bad. I come from germany but i would show you my big Indoorplane!

It is complete scratchbuilt with no plan.

Material ist 3/6mm Depron.

Wingspan 3,60
Propdiameter is 52 inch ( handmade, balsawood)
Gear selfmade
Wheel materials are styrofoam and a tube from a bicycle.

weight 6,5kg
Wingload 11,8g/qm

It looks a little slow outdoors

What are you using for motor, ESC, battery, gear ratio and servos?

The first Motor was a Kontronik 4025 but that one loose Magnets. Now is still working a Dymond GTX 6369 with 275kv and 670gramm.
The gear is selfmade, i posted a picture from the parts and now the pictures from the complette gear. Battery is 4s 3000mah.
At full throttle is 60ampere and over 8kg thrust. Normaly i fly with less than 1/3 throttle.
The ESC is a smart 100 from Dymond. It is light and work really smooth.
Servos are Graupner with 36gramm and push 5kg( i forgot the no. .. )

Very well done that is a wonderful airplane.
I think it has got to have a pilot in the cockpit to finish it off.

Maybe some machineguns too?

... looks like power is plentiful but any additional weight might make it too fast for indoors. Better make any additional major details detachable?
