Yes, that's exactly one of the reasons it was developed. If your FBL or Flight Controller takes Spektrum remotes or PPM input it will be just what you need.

Andy, do you know where you can buy or download the 3d printed part for the AR7700 Vortex antenna mount that is displayed on the horizonhobby site for the AR7700? Cant find it anywhere...

I am also interested by this and i didn t find anywhere to buy it, but they have this :
http://www.horizonhobby.com/antenna-...v100-vtr231013

I got a failsafe after 100 meters, the quad was behind me , i installed the AR7700 without the satellite and the antenna was inside the body of the vortex ...

Now i pluged the satellite under the mobius kit and the antenna is around the Rx, but the range test is not the best, when i do the test with the quad on my side,it failed even with the satellite ...

The range test was better with the satellite pluged on the CPPM cable or even with the lemon Rx, the only reason why i bought the AR7700 is that you can pluged some stuff on it ...

i am a bit disappointed

Sounds to me like you need to do a full range check.

No luck find where that antenna mount came from, Andy? And question, you can't use the satellite when doing PPM on the Vortex, can you? The manual says:

PPM Output

This mode connects with flight control systems that accept a PPM data stream.
This protocol is widely available in many flight controllers, but is not as fast or
offer as many channels, Remote Receiver Output or SRXL.

I found who made it, and it's up to him if he wants to post it. He knows about this thread. It's not a Horizon product.

Why couldn't you use the remote receiver on the AR7700?

Hmm. Seems to me that maybe the word "as" should replace that last comma.

Sorry for the delay, I just published it on thingiverse!

It might be rough to fit it in, but thats intentional to make it a pressure fit and not have it fall off. I had to use pliers to get it on.

We dont sell it, but I just posted the .stl on thingiverse if you have a 3D printer (or friend with 3D printer) to make one

Antenna mount

The AR7700 works really better with an antenna mount, i found one here : http://www.a2pro-online.com/antenne-...ube-nylon.html, now the range test is good until 40 meters ...

So now my setting is : AR7700 on the rear with the antenna mount sited directely in the hole behind the Rx plus the satellite in the front under the mobius kit ...
