Question

Can a DSM2 radio run a DSMX receiver

Just curious. I have an older DX5e DSM2 and a newer 6 ch DSMX receiver. Will they work together? Thank you.

Which RX is it? I've seen some RXs that are listed as DSM2/X compatible and some as only DSMX. Some of the DSMX radios I have won't work with my DSM2 radio, there is a 1 second delay. Could just be incompetence on my part though.

The only issue with DSM2/DSMX cross compatibility is in the hardware e.g. a DSM2 main rx MUST have DSM2 satellites. A DSMX main unit MUST have DSMX satellites.

Other than that, they work fine with each other. You just cannot run an AR6000 rx, the original DSM park flyer rx, with a DSMX tx.
