Whoops!

F3X Plane for Sale - Cheap

Lightly used Pike Precision. Mostly cosmetic damage. Some CA and then wax it, good as new. Left Stab is in PRISTINE condition.

This is the light layup version.

I will not ship it, I don't want to damage it, but if an out of state buyer wants this then I would suggest 3 boxes or possibly one large bushel basket. Buyer pays all shipping.

Missing some ballast pieces. Have GPS coordinates for you if you want to look for them. Most likely will have salt damage.

Only serious inquiries.

First come, first served.

(Free roll of red racing duct tape included in sale along with 19 bottle of CA)

Taking offers or trades.............

Hmmm, perhaps that Precision could mate with my "lightly used" Freestyler??

Thank you but not my loss....it was the most violent and totaled crash I have witnessed though. I normally don't like posting up carnage but this was just spectacular....pilot will remain anonymous.

(Edit: on second thought, a Freestyler in a trash bag takes first place....this crash is the second most violent.)

IMO...Aaron wins!

I remember going out there to p/u the carbon cotton fluff that was left & watching the CalFire guys wince when they heard how much was invested in the plane!

I'll say it was one of the most spectacular events I have ever witnessed. Aaron was doing the distance task and the thermal was blowing fast to the east. Aaron followed and was joined by two others for only a few moments. They turned back as the distance away from the pilots was getting deep. I was tracking Aaron from the Alpha sight, marking the laps. I was straining hard to keep a good eye on the plane in order to call the turn correctly. As he approached the Bravo point, I saw the plane roll up for the turn and in a flash of white and yellow, the plane simply exploded as it hit the high voltage power lines!! Nice black, mushroom cloud with flaming parts raining down next to the roadway. Several cars stopped and one pulled off the road and was calling 911. The plane must have been 3/4 miles out or more from Aaron.... Which is normal for him.

About the only thing intact was the tow hook.

Dave,
Do you have the nose cone and servo tray pieces?
I'm willing to give it a try if you want?
