Turnigy TGY i6 Programming Flaperons

Set up my first flaperons with the Turnigy I6 radio system. I used strip ailerons and individual aileron servos.

Starting in the functions menu I went to aux channels

Turned off the inputs to channel 5.

In the mix menu

Mix 1: Put the master of channel 1 (rt aileron) and a slave of channel 5 (left aileron).

Mix 2: The master is VRA and the Slave is Channel 1 with a mix of 50%.

Mix 3: The master is VRA and slave is channel 5 with a mix of -50.

By setting the mix to minus it reverses the direction from the aileron direction. You can make the action more or less by changing the percentage.

The plane flys good with this setup. At full flap deployment it really flys slow at light throttle. I have not had difficulty with tip stalls but try and keep the bank angle low with full flap deployment.

Any comments?

Did you set up mix 3 to be a minus 50%.
There is a way to set up the control to a switch. I have done it since I wrote the post.
Assign channel 6 to be controlled by a switch. The control is in menu AUX Channels.
Then set up mix 3 with the master as channel 6 and slave channel 5.

Thanks replying,
I fixed my set by 2 mix, mix 1 100% and mix 2 -100%....
But here can not use a swicth function, just knob vra or vrb.....

I mean here, if i want to use flaperon just activate a switch such switch b or c....
On the menu mix i am not found what i want....

You need to change the settings on this page.

Make the source for channel 6 SWc then assign go to mix 3 making the master = channel 6 and slave channel 5. I didn' t use 100% on the flaps, feeling it was too much.

Am having trouble understanding you. Sorry.

Assign a switch to channel 6 in the Aux. Channel control, Then make the master of both Mix 2 and Mix 3 channel 6 Use the percentages to make the flaps move the amount you want.

If you have assigned channel 6 to something else then I don't know how to make it work with a switch. Perhaps you can devise some sort of mechanical stop on the dial.

On mine the ailerons are on channel 1 and 5. It looks like you have ailerons on 1 and 6 and are using another logic tree.
