Keeps turning up. I bought few to try a while ago. They will not support over 2C discharge rate. Might be fine for RX battery or powering LEDs on the wingtips, but they are definitely not a flight battery cell.

One cell flys this Cub just fine. The amps are within the 2c range.

Why spend $14.95 on a surplus low-performance Li-poly cell when you can buy a new high-performance Li-poly cell of roughly the same capacity for less money from many different R/C vendors?

If you're looking for surplus Li-poly cells, at least make sure that you're getting them at distress sale prices: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=249847

The battery in my Cub cost less than $5.

Ca Condor,
Your Cub is a beauty - is that a Kitten from the RC Microlight plans? Great job!

No, it was built from some plans in MAN for a larger one.

Is the GWS IPS RLC a geared N20 or is it direct drive? How much does it weigh?

I've gotta build one - it's just too cute.
