Gearbox's for Jeti Phasor motors

Hi, are there gearbox's that fit the Jeti range of brushless motors?
I'm aware there is no particular need to use a gearbox with these motors, but perhaps sometime I may need to use one, I understand they are not easy to find, is there anyone in the UK that may supply a suitable box.
Thanks Mike.

Hi Mike,

I don't know about UK, but Graupner do a 2.5:1 belt drive for 600 size motors with a 5mm shaft, and the Graupner part no. is 3339.

Good luck, John

Modelair Tech also has gearboxes for the Jeti. I don't know if they have a UK distributor.

Model Electronics Corporation makes a gearbox that fits the Jeti motors. I'm currently testing their gearbox with a 1.7:1 ratio on a Jeti Phasor 45/3 motor in a Sig 4 Star 40. I'm swinging an APC 14x10 E prop 6800 rpm on 16 3000 NiMH cells (in MEC power tubes) pulling 35 amps. AT 98 oz, the plane is a very nice peformer. :-) This is a beefier gearbox than their standard unit, similar to the one now supplied for MaxCim motors.

The Kavan Titanium 2:1 gearbox bolts right on. It's inner driven with a 5mm output shaft. MaxCim sells them with their motors but I 'm not sure where else to buy them from. ( a google search wasn't very helpfull )
