"Pharaoh" , new Rittinger sport ship

Plans drawn, I've started cutting on my new design, the "Pharaoh".
54" tail dragger sport model. Wings from Eureka Aircraft. 450-750 watt design, 4 channel.

I'll post progress as I go. Design will be published as well.

Stay tuned for more....
So far, as very simple build, and using commercially vailable cores should help make her accessable to builders.

Got a feeling I'm gonna like this one.
Is it using one of the generic wings from Eureka?

Yes Ken. The fully symmetrical double taper. They get cut in span a bit. I figured it might make it easier for guys to build that way.
It builds fast so far, even making plan tweaks and taking article photos.

Can you take a photo of the plans for us Mark? I'd like to see where your going, and I'm sure I'm not alone!

Thanks.

BTW, congrats on getting 2 of the Top 10 plans at the AMA! That's a great achievement!

Not sure what colors, over powered is subjective, and fast...lol, wellllll.

I'll see what I can do about a sketch or something...

Eagerly watching. My SST could use another Mark designed stable mate.

Let's see -

* Simple to build
* Variety of subjects
* Perfect size (remember those old Magnetic Mayhems?!?)
* Inexpensive
* Nicely drawn
* Excellent build threads & printed text
* Interaction with the builders

Yeah, I'd say you've done a couple things right.

For Christmas this year my son wished for a 25-sized Python to go with the P-51D (your design, but built-up wing) I built. It won't happen because I'm building another laser cutter, but perhaps after the new year I'll have time again.

Thanks Andy, I try. I hope when I'm gone people will remember thses ships and I will have some sort of legacy.
Heres a skewed, nonbuildable shot of the plan.

I think you've guaranteed your legacy, Mark.

I like the lines of this one. Thanks for the photo.

Thanks Mark.

I've got four of your birds under my belt now and all are easy builds and fly great. Keep up the good work! Quite a legacy. How many designs now?
