Question

What plane is this?

Does anybody know what's this?
Looking for a biplane to build and this one caught my attention, but have no clue what it is.

Thanks,

Waco cabin. This would make a great build for Depron. I think about 35-45 wingspan would be a great floater and still run on 3S.

I've actually been wanting to build one of these myself.

There are plans in this old thread for a 35" and 52" Waco Cabin. You can use the plans as outlines to make one from foam:

Also take a look at how I built my Goose and Beaver... they use the same engines in full-scale, so I scaled my plans to fit the 5-1/8"ID plastic cowls I had available... snack jars you can find at Target. My planes are made from 1/2" and 1/4" foam covered with paper and glue... very lightweight yet stiff wings, and you can spray-paint right on top of it.

If you take that 52" Waco plan and scale it 92% to a 47.25" wingspan it will be the right size to fit that cowl. I have been using the HobbyKing DT750 motors for slow vintage cruisers like this... they are cheap and reliable, (though a bit heavy). But you need extra weight in the nose anyway so it's win-win. "Plush" ESCs are also super basic, reliable, and cheap. You can't go wrong with the the DT750 with a12x8 and the Plush 30A on 3S.

I have another plane in the queue first, but then I might tackle this one next.
