Question
generalhobby AT-6 texan 160
Was wondering if anyone has any experience with this plane...
http://www.generalhobby.com/texan-plane-p-979.html #1 Son has a Super Tigre S2000 and thinks this may be a good ship for it. It had enough power for HobbyKing's 2100mm Stinson but needs a short nose since it weighs 2 3/4 lbs. At $239 it seems too good to be true. (maybe shipping is sky high?) If not, maybe Seagull's slightly smaller T-6? any opinions would be appreciated. Nick ![]() |

That's the hard part.
The S2000 puts out the same power as a 4 stroke 120 but weights 12 - 14 oz. more. So I'm looking for a good 120 ARF to put the s2000 on. I figure if someone has an arf that flies good with a 120 but had to put in 12 oz. of noseweight, it would be perfect for the S2000. ![]() PS, the Stinson needed no noseweight. |

by George! I think that's doable.
it even has a box on the firewall for the 18 oz. of lead needed with a 120! Now all we have to do is save up half a kilodollar. Thanks ![]() |
