I don't know how you "match" them, but just make sure you don't over-amp your ESC or burn up your motor with too many volts. I have a GWS 300c and run it on a Kokam 2s1500 lipo pack. With an 11x8 prop it pulls about 8 amps, and I'm using a Great Planes 10-amp ESC. The 60 watts provided is plenty for small light planes. These motors like 7-cell NiCd or NiMH maximum, or 2-cell lipos maximum. Run 8 cells or a 3-cell lipo for too long and you'll burn up the motor. A lot of people complain that GWS stuff is crap and their motors burn up, then they say they're using 8 cells. I've been flying the same motor since October, with a 2-cell lipoly, almost 250 flights, and it's still going strong.
