Does your fan fold have ripples?

Is it typical for the Fan Fold to have “ribs” pressed into it? Like evenly spaced indentions all the way down on every sheet? I haven’t seen much (Any) fan fold except the bundle I found @ Lowe’s so I have no point of reference. It would be much easier to work with if it was smooth like depron. I have uploaded a pic, the ripples are worse than they look in the picThanks for any help

yep mine does, but it has no affect on fligth.

you can get straigth by puting cut out parts in the oven at 200*F between two panes of glass. I have never tried it but I think it could work.

BTW welcome to the forum

Thanks for the reply, I have been wondering how common that was.

i have seen maybe 2 bundles with no ripples .. neither were mine .. over 3 years building with it and thats been all i have seen . i would say 1 bundle in a thousand has no or very little ripples .. sanding and covering the foam or painting gets rid of the ripples .. or baking in a wing jig gets rid of them ..

Sounds like the ripples are pretty common, even to my stash of FFF. I simply ignore them.
