Oh here is mine.
Tail fin was off for the pictures. Yes bling. But very good bling. Same set up for the last 2 years Lynx. Yes Stock is as good. My big plus is that I do not crash. And if I do. Well Throttle Hold right away. I sport fly outside also in idle 2 . Very cheap to maintain. |

I thinking of getting the CP S, I have a 230S, just don't have the room around the house to fly it and were looking at getting the CP S as I could fly that in the yard in the evening. So my question is two part. The first is will the CP S be a good small copy of the 230S and second if I get it, I would like to set it up as I have my 230S set up. With flight mode and idle on separate switches (Idle on switch B and flight mode on switch C) and Panic recovery on switch A, instead of the bind button. Any input from anyone who have the CP S would be great.

The CPS is very qaud like in flight while indoors, as long you fly it in stability mode. In idle up, it's a darty/twitchy flyer. A positive is the low rpms make it more friendly for people, furniture, and appliances. Another good in door heli is the MCPXs. I recently got one cheap on ebay, it reminds me of flying the old wltoys V911, size wise. Out doors in idle up mode, it a bit more stable and smooth compared to the CPS. The 130s that drparker mentioned is the closest to the 230s, it's perfect/ great for the yard or small park. I have hovered mine indoors, but it's to fast for anything else.

If your transmitter allows re-assigning switches then yes you can re-assign them for the ncps as well. I moved Stability/SAFE to a different switch for a while (switch D), but eventually moved it back. |

That said, yes, you can set up your nano cps just like your 230s. Once caveat, for learning flips and rolls, go with the nano. Fly it over grass and you will never hurt it as long as you are good with throttle hold. If you are past the learning stage, go for the 130s. The nano is anemic by comparison.... |

Throttle cut and idle cut are usually called the same as well. Plenty of tutorials available on this forum as well as YouTube. |

FR4- Pilot:
What I mean is that I got normal, idle 1 and idle 2 on Switch B and the Stability mode, Agility mode and 3D mode on Switch C. That way I can go into idle 1 and still keep it in Stability mode, if I want to. |

You can definitely do this with the Nano (and on the mCPS too). |

Thanks, FR4- Pilot,
I haven't thought about the MCP S, but I guess I need to check it out as well, Looking for something small that I can fly in the yards as well as at work, (at work got a fairly large inside area that I can fly in at night and on the weekend when weather is bad). |
