Power Lab 8 Circuit Diagram

Hi all,

I accidentally toasted my PL8.
I brought it to a local electronic repairer and they said they can fix it for if I can provide them with the circuit diagram or at least part number.
I've contacted fma and hope they will reply to me.

Anywa, please refer to the attachment in case you have your PL8 open then please help.

I got the picture from this thread but justtt not clear enough to read the number.

Many thanks

I think you will need to work with Revolectrix on this. They have not published their schematic. Also note that the charger should be re-calibrated after components are replaces. This should be done by Revolectrix.

Thank you for the reply guys.
I've tried to contact them but never got any reply.
I don't mind to ship it back to get it fixed.

Use the link in my post above and open a support ticket or call them. Perhaps your email got stuck in a spam filter or something. They are very responsive. I just saw both Tim and Howard at IRCHA a month ago.

Thanks so much for the link. Howard finally replied. Perhaps my email was into the spam filter. I have purchased a new pl8, it's a great charger. However, i still try to get the old one fixed (as a spare).

I purchased one of these Powerlab 8 over 5 years ago.

It has worked flawless til this past weekend

seems that it has stopped charging

I only charge 2s and 3s

batteries

ok, this is what it says either:

a. negative amperage, reset

or

b. cells no line up, clean nodal pins

is it toast? time to move on?
what would you recommend for me?
I need a charger !
