Having any synch issues with the 2206? Been thinking of setting into a set.

No non at all they have a ton of power, those are actually 2208's.

Looks like I need to order a set. My only change is I'll be using 30A esc to allow a 6045. Peaking an 18a esc to 30a worries me. I love looking at these pretty builds, but I build mine like I build my cars, if it doesn't make it faster, I don't need it.

You might try the Rotorgeeks 30A ESC.
I hear you on the "if doesn't make it faster I don't need it". I enjoy building them and making them look as nice as possible, but even mine get dinged up in a crash and I have to maintain it to keep it looking good. The most important thing is how it flies and handles.
