Full Fuz Yak!
With the thanks of Tim H's (of foamy factory fame) Yak drawings im desiging a full fuz Yak with a few modifications. its going to be made entierly of 3MM depron with a bit of ply and carbon and balsa in it. At the moment its on walpaper, and when i make a final cut of all the parrts ill put it into CAD. Its mostly hand cut but when its in cad i'll Laser and CNC cut it! if its a seriously nice flying and looking plane i may just kit it allong with a few other thet ive designed under a small home buisness my dads hopefully going to set up with me.
This threads just going to be a building and flying thread then i may talk prices and stuff if it flies nice
Picture 1, plane on walparer, not too clear but its there
Picture 2, the nose section, F1 and F2 with the joiner which i think is F5
erm, not really, what i did wat i printed the 36" span plane full size plans to A4, or letter size paper. Then i scaled it up 4X and got this, i havent as yet drawn the wings so i dont know the span, when i draw them up, most proberbly today i will tell you all,
motor? Im thinking deffinatly an AXI and most proberbly the 2212-26. the 2208-34 IMO woulnt be enough because itll be full fuzed which essiantially means more weight
