They look great flying at night. We need a release date!!

What do you guys think it'll be priced at?

I'm guessing around $400.

I may be off base but does 2.4ghz wifi interfere with 2.4ghz rc control signals when your tablet/screen is mounted inches from your rc tx?? I can also imagine lag will be a factor, who races with Lightbridge???

It shouldn't be an issue, as 2.4g tx radios frequency hop.

ok??? so why is 2.4ghz fpv gear not widely used with 2.4ghz rc control?? why mix 5.8 and 2.4 on a phantom or anything else if 2.4 can all work together??

I found the price on Align distributors page. $399 for the arf kit.

Other part prices.

Here are the prices of some of the parts.

Canopy - $16
Arm set 4pcs - $10
Main frame - $25
Camera and camera processor chip - $70

I couldn't find the main flight controller, esc, chip board. I wonder what this will cost? The cost of this may be the deciding factor for many to purchase the MR25, since all the esc are incorporated. I'm going to guess, $60-$70.

MR25 arms - material

So it does look like the arm material for the arms on the MR25 is....aluminum!

Why Align!? Everytime you hit something, a gate, the ground you're likely to bend or ding these. Throwing off the quads geometry and likely affecting it's flight performance.

From the specs, they appear to only be 1.5mm thick.

These really needed to be carbon fiber, thick carbon fiber.

I guess, the silver lining is, they are only $11 a set.

Align MR25 Motors

The motors look decent. The shafts look a little small. The motors seem to come with banana plugs for quick swap out and maintenance. They come in left and right hand.

$20.99 each

So what do you guys think???

I'm a little disappointed with the aluminum arms. The arf price is OK and came in right at what I guessed it would be, $400. The replacement parts cost is average.

We'll have to wait and see how much the main electronics board cost. I would hate to run the chance of having to replace it after a crash if it's priced too high.

For now, I'm happily holding onto my Vortex.
