For those interested in modding the front suspension to upright position we may be able to use the shock tower from VRX Racing new Truggy :
http://www.banggood.com/VRX-Racing-R...ampaign=rh1045 Banggood says there will be spare parts and upgrades |

Repaired my Feiyue and install metal axles front and rear and upgraded it with a gyro.
Gyro work very well when the car moves forward correcting both left, right also prevents me from drifting, doing 360s etc which would flip the car. The only problem with the gyro is that when the car is moving in reverse the gyro move the steering to the left making the car do circles. What can i be doing wrong ? The gyro i used is this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1822431225...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

I installed the lower possible pinion gear today.
* Acceleration seem more accurate now * Far less cogging gearbox sounds more smooth now. * The gearbox now sounds powerful, much like the reverse gear of a real car Just when the car was ready and i was doing a test run around the house the servo died for no apparent reason. The only thing i can imagine is that it was the gyro's fault for correcting the steering all the time. So even after all that work from upgrading axles, changing pinion gear, and installing a gyro, i have a car that doesn't work. Time for new servo, i am open to suggestions |

I have some Turnigy lights that require 7.2v so I needed to add a 12v to 7.2v bec for that so wondered if the servo would stand to be used at 7.2v? I know it is a bonehead question but I don't use servos with quad copters. I am going to guess these are 4.8-6v because most that run off 7.2v seem to have the designation HV for high voltage. But not all. Wish BG had the info in the ad. |

Feiyue Servo Wiring
Speaking of servo's, I've been messing around with mine and de-soldered my 5-wire plug from the terminals and didn't take a picture to put it back together. Would someone be willing to take their 5-wire servo apart and send me a pic?

Transmitter problem
Hello guys,
Couple of weeks ago I have ordered this set. First impression was really good for me,fast car, easy steering, perfect for a beginner. But after 2-3 charging, everything has changed: the controller does not find the car easily, after so much time when it happened, the car reacts really slowly, or totally lost the signal. This case the red light on the receiver is blinking. What could be the problem? The batteries are new in the controller, everything is charged. |

Video of the VRX OCtane XL being followed around by the Feiyue Eagle:
The Feiyue can sure keep up with the Octane and its faster than the Octane since its running on 3s but the Octane is much easier and accurate to driver than the Feiyue |

Has anyone managed to mod a sway bar into the Feiyue so that the car doesn't roll ?
