Does anyone know what type of battery this quad has?
I have some 3dr 5100 batteries and would like to know if these would work in the xk500.
so the xk 500 batteries should be 4s but I have 3s batteries and wonder if they would work. thanks Brian

Maybe they are focusing on the smaller ones at the moment, the X251 is just starting to become available.

What do you mean the 380 was a bad quad? The 380 is a great quad, learn a bit about it before making idiotic comments.

I think he was more referring to how there isn't that much talk about XK here, so one reason might be it's not that good. But so far my experience with XK stuff has been that it's pretty good, and often offers features that are not common for the price range it's in. The X6 and X7 transmitters are a big plus, as these offer massive tuning options. I am now testing the X100, which can be tuned to fly like any 6 axis gyro toy grade quad, except you can fine tune the banking angles and yaw speed to your liking, instead of being stuck with preset rates. And at the flick of a switch, it can be turned into a full 3D quad, that can be flown like a CP heli, inverted, manual 360 degree flips, or 180 degree, etc.
