Crash and trash?

Or more accurately, drive and dump?

Frustration abounding with the ECX Beatbox 1/35 truck I purchased last Christmas for my grandson.

Back when I bought the truck, the hobby shop told me that no parts were available.

This being Horizon Hobby, I thought that rather unusual and hoped some parts would be in the pipeline before long. Right?

The onboard li-po will no longer take a charge; the truck has been sitting idle for a few months. Online searches turned up nothing and neither did a call to Horizon.

For the very first time, Horizon Hobby's peerless customer service turned up absolutely zilch on a current product.

So, the truck is about to go under the screwdriver, as it were. I'll find a li-po somewhere.

If anyone has a suggestion, I'm certainly up for one.

I certainly wish I was posting to be of some help, but am unfortunately not. I just purchased one of these today from local shop thinking it would be fun for my daughter for xmas. I saw you could get off-road tires and after the LHS said they didn't have any I figure I would just search Google and find some. I am now having no such luck. So no tires, no spare parts, or anything?! I have purchased a WLToys A939 in the past, they are close to the same size and WLToys does have some spare parts, so maybe look for the battery with them. Let me know what you find, and if you know of off-road tires for it please point me in a direction! These foam tires that are on here now will be destroyed in a day with her...

Found a link! And sorry, its the L939, not A. Not sure if its been dissected and if you know or not, but maybe this battery will work.

Thanks...and I love your screen name! I haven't yet taken it apart, but now that I've seen this link - and I have a great professional relationship with Banggood - I'll see if this matches up and if so, I'll order one.

Thanks again!
