ok ive loaded up the fryskytelemetry example
and the values are wrong on my 9xr pro
how do i fix this i have ersky9x fw, with frsky djt and frsky d8r-ii plus

i commented out everything but gps related stuff and the values are still incorrect

i finally got everything working by flashing my 9xr pro with the latest opentx.
im wondering if there is any bluetooth support for the 9xr pro with opentx

Any chance this library and your S.Port library are on github somewhere, so that its easy to fork changes and/or provide contributions back to you?

May I ask one question?

I am a total newbie with Arduino and programming, but I just must ask you..
Do you have any idea how to get the rpm sensor data from a Hobbywing Platinum Pro V3 to your hub?
Its compatible with Mikado V-bar, but have no idea how to implement to Frsky telemetry output..

So basically just have a serial interface to read the RPM data and convert to frsky protocol and send it to ex. er9x radio?

Can you point me to some direction how to achieve this? Or do you think it needs a HUGE library to convert the data?

I saw that one hobbywing phase sensor people have successfully got working with Taranis, but this is somewhat different.

Any help would be appreciated. =)

No it doesn't look like a lot of work. You have it all described at the last page of the documentation that you've linked.

Anyone, please some help is needed.

I have read a ton of pages of arduino and serial port stuff, but still no data..

Could someone post a simple sample, of working ex. FAS voltage code snippet, just to get started.
All related stuff about the hub is on the sport side and it does not work with the old protocol right?

I'm afraid there are many errors in your example..

This library does not have decoding capabilities (yet) so you can't read the sensor values. You can only emulate sensors.

Variometer mistake


Hello Pawelsky.

I just try your library on a arduino nano with the sample code from the library.
I connect the nano to a D8R II +.
I have a Turnigy 9x with OpenTX with telemetry mod.
All works except I am not able to make the variometer sound working.

I simply modify the sketch to send a new altitude (+3m) evry second.
I see my altitude growing on the 9x screen but no sound on the vario..
I try to use alt or vario as source.. same pb.

When I try to show Vertical speed on the screen it stay at 0.0.

So Is there I didnt understand on the setFvasData vario emulation ??
I dont know if the problem come from the opentx or from the FVAS emulation...
Do you have any idea about ?

To my knowledge the vario sensor only returns vertical spead as analog voltage output, so it is not included in the serial stream. There is even no data atg defined to vertical speed in the hub protocol specification.

Unfortunately I do not have the vario sensor nor the data hub to confirm it.
