Ok I am sold since I already have a modded devo7e I use for my toy quads. I have a leftover lemon rx from a unfinished project. This would be my first "real" quad so I lack basic understunding, what else would I need besides the lemon rx and how do how hook it up to the quad ? I would also greatly appreciate an ini. file . Any and all help and/or links welcomed !

i ordered the cheap one but with a set of good skew planar antennas.. It should work as its a eachine brand Have ordered the quad, the i6 tx and rx , and quanum v2 goggles and the eachine rx and some batterys also, should be here in a week !
Diversity is nice, but its a fpv racer which only operates in close range, and the tx is a 600mw , coupled with good antennas it should be fine i think |

I'm considering buying the Eachine Diversity Monitor http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-LCD5...-p-993668.html whilst it's on offer today and using it as a base station to connect to Quanum V2 goggles via its AV output. If I understand it correctly then that will allow me to use the diversity receiver in the screen to provide the signal to both the display and the goggles and then bystanders can see what I'm seeing. |

No. Diversity is explained in this video. I recommend the whole series.
Edit: most single antenna RX's have 2 AV out also, theres no must for a diversity RX for your intended use, but usualy diversity provides a more stable reception of your video signal so its nice to have. |

There is a board that is spaced roughly half way up the battery that surrounds it on three sides; its only purpose is to contain the battery. It isn't going anywhere in a crash, except maybe out the back end. The photos in the article in the Banggood blog show it very well. I think there is a link early in the thread.
