Tips/Mods/Useful Information

Here is a general glossary from the beginner multirotor section of RcGroups:

Additional Terms Not Listed:

CC3D - 32bit Flight Controller (FC) that comes installed onto the Eachine Racer 250.
Open Pilot GCS is used to configure the CC3D. More info here
If you would like to use Clean Flight with it:
Cleanflight - How to flash onto CC3D (2 min 43 sec)

Snowflake Screen- A screen effect that is much more preferable than blue/black screen. Basically, instead of completely losing connection when signal is weak, your screen will try to hang on to whatever signal it can get, so you will have as much visibility as possible when your connection is getting worse.

(This will be continuously updated. Let me know if you guys have any word requests)

If your asking about your RX, sorry..
^^^ I have verified this. My other CC3D clones also follow this setup.
Note: Black wire connects to the outer pin of your receiver and white to the innermost pin for channel 1 of most (if not all) PWM receivers (reversing this can fry your receiver). The singular wires connect to the signal pins of each channel on your receiver (inner most pins on most, if not all PWM receivers).

The BNF's version receiver might not be compatible with DSM2 but it can probably be replaced.

Oh man I want to know more more more.

rhodesrc you say the camera IS NOT adjustable? Just want to check as on the BG description it says it is adjustable by loosening the four screws. Thanks

In general and for anyone. Also would like to know how many channels and which ones the VTX works on and is able to change to.

+1 for wanting to know what receiver type comes with it and what radios it can bind to.
Also what wiring as seby said.

This looks pretty awesome. Would love to test one out Aaron but either way really looking forward to hearing much more.

Oh also wonder what flight modes it has pretuned.

Can't wait for more.

Looks like the arms are easily replaceable if so that is a big plus. I wonder if the motors have bullet connectors for easy replacement as well.

Are the ESC's built onto the board or separate?

Oh so much to know and talk about.

I see the rtf version looks to include a monitor.

Oh wow I also see it has OSD. Can't wait to see what that shows and how good it is.

edit: Ok rcnewbiechris I look forward to it

wouldn't mind doing a review myself. Haha
