As far as I know, when they run either Friday night or Saturday night they may run that late but not normally.
The good thing about Brendale is that you are able to run late into the night and not have to worry too much about residence as it is an industrial area.

Good point, but industrial resistance wasn't my main concern, it was family resistance.

On the positive side, it's better than hanging out at a pub and pissing it up against a wall

Remember that Saturday was 'special' because all classes were invited to participate.
It was the first race meet for 2009.

There was 8 races per round and we had 4 rounds of qualifying and then some classes then had three 5 minute finals and others had one or two longer finals etc.

I certainly hope normal race days at Brendale will not require over 8 hours of attendance.

If the racing days get sorted with the trucks, then I'm sure that it won't be that long of a day. (at least until the classes increase in size to a point we need more than 1 heat of each)

Gidday guys,
Just got an e-mail from Steve (organising the trucks) and he said he has the date for the first official meeting. It is scheduled for Sunday 25th starting at 9am.
He can be contacted on:

The family are camping on the Australia Day long weekend so unfortunately I'm going to miss this one.

Awesome, Thanks for the info Eden.

So how many bikes will we have for the 25th.
I'm in for sure so there's definitely one already.

Who's keen?

I'm out for the 25th sorry, working. Damn it!

Lenny,

I'm keen as to get one of those F27C Strykers now. I can't wait. Where's the cheapest place to buy one? I'm thinking of getting the brushless RTF and taking you up on the offer of the loan of the brushed set up to learn with. Thanks again too for the body and rider for Shev, he's rapped with it and dying to come racing. We've been working on our cornering and control. Shev's much better then me being an accomplished touring car racer but I'm getting there.

If I could run my bike three hours a day, I would.

Ross.
