Here what pics I got yesterday.

Only got pics of Edan's bike running though, plus heaps of the tc's while marshalling. Had a great day too looking forward to our next meet.

Cool, thanks for the pics,.. it's been a while since we've had pics of us racing.. (I only got those two pics of the pits)

Yeah,.. I hope Chris got some video, I think he got me doing a long wheelie out of the hairpin in the middle of the track, going thru the 2nd chicane..

Wish you'd send some of that shorts wearing weather over to the UK.

by what was posted on rctech, it sounds like there were some little buggers with go-karts on the track, not necesarily the rc guys. only way to really stop it is to put a 8-10 foot high fence around it all and lock the gate.

Hope it gets sorted out because it is an awsome track to race the bikes on.

Ben and I where talking about this kafuffle with Gilly, and what we'd do without it,.. so while we were doing some laps around Brendale yesterday we said,..'Why don't we just race here at Brendale instead'..! It would be great to have a different track to race on too.. What do the rest of you guys think..??? The only way their going to fix the after hours track usage and noise etc is to do exactly that,.. Build a massive kangaroo fence around the track..

Anyway,.. in the meantime, if any of you want to go for a run at Brendale over the Hols. let us know.., yesterday was good fun, I'm keen for another roll..

I'm OK with the idea. Since I live about half way between both tracks, either one will be alright.
We should talk to John about slotting in with the other electric racing up there under lights

Hope your all doing well.. Anyone thinking of doing a day out at Brendale over the next week or two..? I'm keen for another roll soon..

Other than thinking about running the bikes etc, I've also been tinkering again with the new toy,.. built another 1/8 chass (KP07 copy), and a 1/8 drag bike.. I don't get presents from santa anymore, so I have to make them myself.. lol

Oh, and Merry Xmas...

Shaun

Btw,.. I saw Simon at ToyWorld the other day, he's doing good.. He said his bike's all setup for next year..

Haha, that lathe/mill looks pretty clean mate
But seriously that dragbike will be a weapon of mass distraction for sure
Merry Xmas to all, have a good and safe party season.

Gidday there guys,
any more news on where racing is going to be in the new year yet?

I just replaced the 8000kV motor in my 1/8 bike with a 4200kV and I must say it is much more driveable. I can almost run it up my driveway and turn around (its only just one car width wide).

I have to take it down the road to see how it goes on the track with a bit more area to play with.

Anyway, hope you all had a good Xmas and I will catch you all sometime in the new year..

Hi Eden,.. no not yet, I guess we'll find out early in 08' hopefully..

Who knows, next time you come up we could be racing at Brendale, if nothing comes of the noise situation at Gilston.. Be alot easier for you to get to the track too..

Yeah,.. Xmas was ok, did'nt do to much, just been getting back into alot of sk8'n over the break, hitting up all the new parks around the place..

Let us know how your 1/8 goes at your local track, and maybe some pics or video of it would be cool..?!

Anyway,.. Hope everyone is doing ok, it's been a little quiet on here of late.. See you all in the new year..!

Shaun
