GCMR Web page

Hi Guy's,

I just wanted to let everyone know that the points score's have been updated and I am now looking after the club's web page.

For now you can check out the points score at -

http://www.gcmr.biz

The clubs web site of www.gcmr.org.au will up and running soon.

I am having www.gcmr.org.au re-directed to www.gcmr.biz.

This is going to take 24 - 48hrs for this to happen.

And beafore you all say that the points do not look right. I will have it fixed tonight.

Thanks and see you guy's on Sunday.

Chris

Hi Guys,

Thought I should introduce myself on here, Im Chris Streames the owner and creator of Moto-5.com, I hear that you guys are looking for a possible online presence which is dedicated to racing over in OZ.

Well i am friends with Scaufi having spent time with him over here in the UK and i have just emailed him a suggestion as to how i could help. I have the ability to make a subdomain of moto-5 for example - http://Aussies.Moto-5.com this could be your own webspace to do with as you wish, although i wouldnt be able to host another seperate Forum just for yourselves i could certainly add a section on the existing Forum which is dedicated to you all. Hopefully shaun will talk to you all about it, see what you think, and let me know.

Just so you guys all know moto-5.com has three sections at the moment a general introductory site found here -> www.moto-5.com (needs a big change but ive been busy elsewhere), a Huge Forum with almost 5,000 fully categorized articles and over 200 members which is here ->www.moto-5.com/Forum and the latest feature a Fully functional member based gallery which is here www.moto-5.com/gallery.

Well i hope that i can help you guys out i feel that it would benifit both moto-5 and yourselves if we could set something up together.

Cheers,

Chris Streames

Hi Chris,.. well, I hardly find the time to post most of the time, so setting up and moderating the forum would probably be a big call for me alone.. But having a seperate section on your existing Moto5 forum would be more like it.., cause IT is something I'm not that great with..

I did speak with Marty tonight though, and he said he could do the setup and moderation side of a full subdomain of Moto5, so it could be something for us all to have a think about at our next meet this weekend.. I'll see what everyone has to say anyway.. I'll let you know anyway..

Well, it looks like Marty can't make it tomorrow, but he said he might get a chance to drop in after he's done with what he has to do..

Marty,.. here's the link to the GCMR site so you can find how to get there..

Thanks Marty..

So are you going to come to Gilly on the 9th Dec with us for the fun day..?

It would be great to have as many of us there for the last meet of the year,.. it would be cool to have all 7 of us on the grid..

That would be,

Ben
Troy
Lenny
Simon
Dave
Marty
Me

No big deal if some of you can't make it but, it would be awesome if you could..

There I was thinking last Sunday was the last race meet for the year.
I'm chuffed that I'm wrong.

9th December it will be.

That gives me a little more time to practice so that hopefully the marshals won't be spending all their time righting my bike and can enjoy the show

You well deserve a trophy for the furtherest traveled though.. So when do you think you'll get a chance to get up this way next..?

Hopefully we have another GP challange at the begining of the year again, like we had this year.. A 2 day event thing..

I'd like to work on the 9th but not quite sure as yet. If not, definitely the GP challenge early next year.
