Sky Surfer Paraglider

I just purchased the HobbyZone Sky Surfer and just love it. I've flown rc aircraft on and off for several years. The Sky Surfer is a great change of pace. It requires virtually no skill to fly, and is practically complete out of the box. I think everything about the Sky Surfer is great except the optional 1100 mAh battery pack. The sky surfer doesn't perform nearly as well with the heavier 1000 mah pack. Does anyone know where I can get other lighter batt. packs that will still give me increased flight times? I'm not very skilled at soldering battery packs together, so I would prefer a completed pack.

my surfer flies on 600mh nicad or 1300nickel hydride battery`s,lighter than 1100`s.I agree that surfer flies better with lighter cells, had mine for about 2yrs now,one mod u can make is 2 replace 380geared motor with graupner 400 6v type-loads of fun!!,hope this helps.

Where can I get a NiMh pack that is already assembled? I want to be sure that it will fit in my sky surfer.
