Always beautiful to see J-Class yachts on the water and in action ... VERY NICE VIDEO

Especially liked seeing THE FUN folks were having ... and ... helping to get these large yachts into and out of the water (special lifting hooks used by CPM-Chesapeake Performance Models at each end of the yacht to allow reaching low into the water from the dock - good idea)

We have been to more than a few full size events with models and although it seems interest would be good, it just is not. We had a pool inside the beer tent at KWRW offering two boat match racing and no one, and I do mean no one took the controls for the entire week. Lots of lookers but not a single race.

Hopefully your experience will be different.

Put telemetry in a friend's J-Class Ranger this weekend just for fun. Came up with this:

Race 2:
Inspecting the GPS file, Race 1 Was abandoned, as it had a vang issue.
Appears to have been a .35 Mile Race course which equates to a .30NM Course

Well I guess 2 wasn't enough. I'm in the process of building Enterprise. Hopefully, I'll have her done for J Day and Chuck and I can have a 1930 Americas Cup trials reenactment, Yankee vs. Enterprise. I will be posting pics. as I did with Endeavour and Rainbow.
