GIZ in response to your question in thread 7:
There are a number of members who are on ES number 2,3,4 or more...
Maybe someone near you (near as in "on the same continent") has a spare canopy from a retired (sounds better thant non-surviving) ES?

Yeah tt takes up all our bad habits..

I am impressed, detract that map is cool and a really good idea!

and a good place to find the links to all threads.

Maybe you should add an auction for ES spare parts from our Easystars that have suffered immediate irrecoverable existential failure. Just put next to each location on the map which parts are available

I asked, if you remember you said "I think I speak for everyone, and TT should open the next thread." Or something to that effect, but I appreciate it as it was a good, fun experience. I was afraid I would screw it up and everyone would be mad at poor TT, but you helped me to overcome that fear, and I appreciate that. Love, tt

great , thread 8! OMG
It is so hard trying to keep up with the postings here and do all the flying I want to do!.
had a great crash today, I was practicing nose diving myself and pulling up into vertical at the last minute and all was going well with some pretty deft moves until the last one where the battery cut out at the apex of the vertical climb, it stall flipped and nearly pile drived me hehehe, once it hit the ground it looked like it had died a goodun, with its tongue sticking out and everything!

only a couple of minutes with my sticky tape and all will be well.

Detract, your site is looking great!!

I am surprised to see how everything else has held up when the nose got shortened like that!

I´think that waaaaaaaay back in thread 1 or 2 when you were waiting for your first plane there was someone from New Zealand but can't remember the name...
Took a trip down memory lane.... Back in thread #1 there was a guy who called him self Samuel from New Zealand and funnily enough a guy named Splash99 who was rubbing his hands and grinning when getting ready for doing touch and goes.....

Very funny reading going back to see what one postede "years" ago...

Very nice idea with the map, cool

Well in thread 7 I got the plane my goal for this thread is to maiden it, I don't want to do a TT....

Mikael, toot toot..........

EasyStar Spare parts

These are the spare part numbers for the EasyStar

Fuselage and Canopy - 224193
Wing Set - 224194
Tail Set - 224195
Canopy only - 224197
Wing Joiner - 723188
Decals - 724124

Canopy latches 2 pairs - 725136
Control Horns 2pcs - 703206
Control rod tubes small (2mm) 10pcs - 713458
Control rod tubes large (3mm) 10pcs - 713459
Pushrod Connectors 2pcs - 703455 (I think these are the ones).

The wire rod they supply is the 0.8mm wire.

The country distributor should have them in stock. Get your LHS to order them from the distributor.

As previously discussed in other threads, MPX have a very sensible attitude to spare parts and can supply almost everything on the plane as a spare part.

This in contrast to Robbe who make nice planes, but offer no spares for their later foam models like the Concorde etc... I guess they feel their version of Elapor (Arcel) is tough enough, because they still sell spares for their Styro models.
