I use a medium-large tote box to transport multiple RCs. I can get 4-1/18s in it or 2-1/18s and 1-1/10 or 2-1/10s. I picked it up near the hunting section at WalMart. If you need a pic I'll get one tomorrow morning. The lid fits upside down and it's ribbed in squares underneath and doubles as a work bench when on my tailgate.

Water proof, air tight, rugged don't mix with cheap. I would say pelican case is the best bet.

It still had the sticker. It's a Plano brand.

And there's only 3-1/18s in it right now.

It's not nearly as rugged as a Pelican box, but for the size and price it does me just fine. I can toss my 1/10 crawler on top of the others and then toss it all in the trunk of my car or the back of my truck.

Is the Plano waterproof? I found a large tool box from Lowe's but I don't know if it is waterproof Do you guys like this one? http://www.progressiverc.com/prc-hardline-xl-case.html Any large metal ammo cans you guys have heard of? The pelican cases are pricy I'm looking for a 25length 19width 15height or depth container.

Thanks, MilitaryRcDude

Ah cool I got a mini revo and liked it so much I got the big revo lol. They are really cool trucks. The plano case above looks really nice, why do you need it to be water proof??

Ah I see WW2 vets always have cool stories bud!! Thank you!

Well if a pelican is out of budget then how about putting the transmitters in water tight containers or heavy duty zip loc bags? In the army we had this water proof draw string bag and it worked great lol. I'm sure you can find one at a surplus store

The lid of the Plano has a channel and O ring seal in it.

My bad. The one I pictured doesn't have the seal. It's the one I keep in the bed of my truck that does. It's the same brand, style, and size box. It's just a little longer.

I'll add to this. use any container you feel all the gear will fit in then use a Vaccum Bag. like to store blankets in or coats.. and their are many many 12v car vacs out for under $15 and the bag is $20..

what I suggested is Airtight /watertight /waterproof

Yes I think way outside the BoX.
