Introduction
Twisted Hobbys all-new 35” EPP Zorro Wing from RcFactory! Setting new grounds for capable combat indoor/outdoor wing is ready for fast-paced aerobatics, fun combat, FPV or just spur of the moment flying with minimal investment. The Crack Wing's huge fins make for exceptional stability in low speeds also great choice for FPV. Like all of Twisted Hobbys foamies, the low weight and durable full EPP construction make this airplane perform great while remaining incredibly durable, all without breaking the bank. The Zorro Wing boasts a wide speed range and quick construction, making it an ideal spec combat plane or just a bunch of no-frills fun for pilots of any skill level.
Uniqueness - this 35" wing is designed to be light, nimble and fast.. all up weight is in the 230 to 240 gram range, and the power system is similar to what you would use on a 32" 3D Foamie. You will be pleasantly surprised. Flying: Over the past 10 days or so I have had opportunity to fly this Wing in all conditions, and will several different sized batteries... anything from 450/3s to 850/3s... the bigger batteries give a more ideal CG point, but with that said, there is actually a pretty wide acceptable range for the CG on this wing. Building: The build is super simple, with all the included hardware, and attention to detail, it is possible to have the build done in a single evening and ready to fly. The Mission: Sport Flying - The Zorro is a great sport flier, with the bigger packs and some throttle management you get flight times approaching the 10 minute mark.... catch some thermals and stay up even longer. Aerial Videos - Do you like to take videos of you flying adventures... put a slightly smaller pack in the battery bay and strap on a Mobius Camera. FPV - If FPV is your gig.... with a pico camera, and a 200 to 400mW transmitter, the Zorro will hardly notice the payload. Combat - All it takes is a streamer and a friend with another Zorro, for an afternoon of fun. ![]() . |

The Build and Comments
Twisted Hobbys Build Manual - have a peek, joining the wing halves is about the hardest thing in the build... and the designers have taken all the guess work out of that. The Manual is nicely done with a clean and simple look.
Glue - all the foam to foam and wood joints use Welders or Foam Tac... all the Foam to Carbon joints use thin CA. More pictures will follow for those that prefer this over the PDF format Enjoy! Questions and Comments Welcome.... Post pictures and videos of your Zorro and how you are having fun with it. . cdee . |

Nice flying wing Frank. Looks like it could handle quite a lot of wind too with the good speed it carries. I like this because it is a bigger size wing. Chris I'm sure we will see you flying the wing soon. Nice thread.

Cdee Look forward to hearing your thoughts on how it flys. Love the looks of it.
I'm doing some fpv with quads and would like an inexpensive winged platform to try. Also would like to know how well it glides as in its ability to catch thermals and stay aloft. And can we get Sone 3d out of it? Not to tall an order is it? An fpv capible, awsome soaring, 3d machine ![]() Let us know |

I was doing FPV with my Crack Laser the other day... the video is a little rough, but check out the "Crack Vision" system that TH has on their website if you have not already seen it. . cdee . |
