The two were right close together, so maybe it just sends one. You won't get notified of your own post, And I think if a post occurs while you are on the same thread that you won't get notified of that either.
You may want to run through your options, and I have posted a list of what to look for on post #1.

Dave and I made a decision to delay the flying until 11:00 due to windy conditions. It is supposed to calm down some by then ( I hope!).

Go through the checklist of your options, as I spelled out on the first post, you might find something not setup right.

Where was everyone? I drove by to see a locked gate a bit after 1 pm. I had gone out to Eagles field at 12:30 an no one was there. I joined there this year because no one ever showed up at the Wolverine field. This is the 3rd time its happened there. Always during morning or day. Other day there have been 10 to 20 people there. I had gone to Wolverine field 8 times in a row this year and no one there. This morning I I was going to rejoin the wolverines to have someone to fly with if there was no one at the Eagles, ... but no one was at the Wolverine field again., even with the announcement there would be several. I'd see more people if I took up fishing!
