How to hack that? Looks difficult. And dangerous.

Installing a real connector sould do the trick as well as bypassing the bottom security push bottons

My first aerial video compilation made from footage shot from Minivet.

Wingsland Minivet FPV Quadcopter - Keppel Bay (3 min 52 sec)

I may have added too much saturation and color temperature during editing.

Do you think they aren't data transmission pins, like on the phantom 2&3?

Sorry .... Singapour seems not bad too...

My Minivet is still unusable seems they didn't release any gimbal software ...
I am frustrated when I Watch your superb videos... The minivet seems a pretty good video plateform

While editing the videos, I noticed the gimbal had difficulty stabilizing the camera. When Minivet flies through gusty wind (video at 2:44), it shakes and wobbles. I had to rely on post-processing stabilization, which caused jello in the final video.

The gimbal should have handled this. I believe the gimbal is not reacting fast enough to the sudden movements of the Minivet. Maybe PIDs may help, maybe it needs more powerful motors, I don't know.

Also, the scene (video at 0:33) that shows a ship is slanted. It might have experienced roll drift while I yawed my Minivet around.

I am in contact with Wingsland directly. They are still working on their website and instruction manual. Their official sales and service email accounts are still not operational. We may have to wait a while before the configuration software is ready.

I already told the person about your problem when I asked her to find out how to activate the POI mode. I had a preview of the Chinese draft user manual. Despite being 60% complete, it's pretty impressive! The good news is that the product definitely supports firmware upgrade and fine-tuning via a configuration software. The bad news is nobody knows when they will be ready!

The English manual is only 1-page completed but it is definitely not Chinglish.
