1. have they eliminated the ft009 water switch as they did on the ft012 ?
2. is the top speed increase due only to the 14.8v battery ( vs 7.4v ) or are there other
high performance improvements ?

Good questions ..... but I don't have any answer.... For 2), I guess yes.... but no confirmation. A brushed motor working at 4S .... it's first time I see that. The water cooling system must be very efficuent

How's the review going on this? I want to order one but it doesn't look
like any spare parts are available.
If it's like the 009 the "safety" is easy enough to bypass.

In fact, I didn't received it ... I don't know maybe they won't produce it finally or have been sent to another reviewier. I can't tell you

I guess that would explain why you haven't reviewed it!!!
Maybe I'll just order the FT012, and call it a day.
