Just talked to Woody and Hans. They had supper with George in Denver, staying overnight there.
They will be taking I-70 through the Rockies. It's raining in Denver right now so I imagine it's snowing in the upper elevations. Might be a fun trip through Eisenhower Tunnel @ 11,000'. That is THE main reason I never travel I-70 with a trailer ( or w/o four wheel drive). Guess they are planning on staying in Grand Junction and coming into SG on Tuesday. J |

Good call on the southern route, J! Wishing those guys a safe trip and looking forward to seeing them Tuesday night.
Just wrapping up 14 hours of battery charging with four chargers, including transmitters and air pump battery. Receiver packs get charged tomorrow night. |

Indeed J! I'll be happy once we get everything loaded and heading toward Boulder City. We pick up the U-Haul at 9am and hope to be on the road by Noon, estimating 5 hours to get there.
Thank you sir! |

Grub....
And Sam's Town and Sunset Station aren't even 20 minutes away
BUT, if you guys are smoked and want to stay in BC for dinner (which wouldn't surprise me), there's quite a few places right along main street that Tony mentioned that are very cool. Leigh and I have eaten at a couple of them.... If y'all are staying at the Quality Inn, it's actually on the Lake Mead side of BC, about 10 minutes south of town on the 93..... |
