Looks like you will have to offer nearly all the color schemes, and let us choose our colors...

The flight testing department of Stream Team factory reports that at 217g empty weight the prototype model appears to handle 6-8 m/s (13-18 mph) winds quite well without ballast. That's a wind speed near the FAI limit!

Interesting that the stab is top mounted in that picture. Is the stab mount installed at the factory or by the customer?

By the customer. Can be bottom mounted if desired, for pull-string operation.

As one of the privelidged few nxt pilots and a member of the Tom siler fan club, this is great news Oleg. Awesome airplane! Congrats on stellar aesthetics. Except for #7 which has been around for a while...Congrats on this collaboration!

I'm not sure. Is it a new tweeked wing or is I t the original nxt freak wing made by stream team?

And reports says it can be flown that light in much wind? For world class pilots or mere mortals too?

My assumption is that it might penetrate against a steady 6-8 m/s breeze but I can't quite imagine how something with such low mass will not bounce in gusts.

Ok? They just "ditched" the stream wing like that? Is the nxt wing that much better? Wow.
Well, interesting indeed.

Why do you assume they ditched the Stream wing? Cant they make two different planes?

I don't think the Stream wing has been ditched. The molds aren't going anywhere and will still be made available if demand arises. This is an entirely new model, designed to compete in that higher AR space.

I timed for Tom in several rounds at CASA with one of his prototype NXT's. He flew it primarily in light wind conditions where the high launch and stupid light weight of the model (it was also in that ~230g category I believe) made the 5x2 task trivial. It seemed to move fairly well when the breeze was up, but this was a prototype plane without ballast provision and a stupid light wing layup, so a SuperFr3aK was brought out for the breezier/nastier conditions.

I hope the Stream wing doesn't go away. Beautiful design, very forgiving flight characteristics.
Just a pleasure to fly.

I would be shocked if they didn't continue to build the Stream. There's really no reason to stop unless the NXT does everything better including better low-speed handling, which the Stream excels at.
