I also think #7 would be great! It just doesn't show that well with the white background...

I am a fan of any glider with a design that doesn't put all the color on the right wing tip....some of us are lefties and are sick of having to cut into the painted tip.

#7 looks too much like a Snipe....

Bling doesn't predict performance or utility. (DUH)

Some wing data in this thread:

Considering the first all-carbon NXT wing was 109g before joining, and Stream Team are building full-size wings at under 100g, I'd be they can pull off some sub 90g wings

Curious to see the fuselage and tails. These differ greatly from what Tom has done for the 2015 NXT:

Sam, you remain my hero, always seeking the technical aspects of design. Soon, no doubt, we will here from the horses mouth...

What, no goofy LE on the V-stab and lots of other stuff ?

From what I've seen of this wing in action, my guesstimate on what Tom did design wise, combined with the build quality that Stream is famous for, this is really going to be something special. Would love to hear what the team pilots think and what the price point is going to be...

Thread OP

I need to get organized and create an ordering page for it, and start the order list. I will do it soon.

Wow, based on this blog by Tom this "new" design is already "old" news! Too funny...

Tom is a genius and just can't sit still. Can't wait to see the airfoil tweaks! This could be more than interesting...

It's been my experience when flying a LONG way downwind, that what's on top of the airplane has little to do with visibility. Many times I'm only flying the shine off the tape on my leading edge, and the white tail surfaces.
