New Product

Durafly Tundra

Have just been watching Hobbyking's first Joe Nall video, and it seems like they have a nice new sportster coming out - this time it's the Parkzone Sport Cub in their sights. Difficult to tell from these screen grabs, but, perhaps a little smaller? (EDIT - Nope, it turns out it is the same 1300mm as the Super Cub!)? Whatever, I think it might be popular - certainly cuter than the Bushmaster, which seems to have been a bit of a flop here in the UK, probably because it needed larger 4S packs.

EDIT - Daily announcement video added; apparently this is due mid summer...

So I guess no-one is that excited about this then! Strange irony - my Dad has asked me to put together my Mum's new plane for him as he's in the middle of a big gas project at the moment. Guess what...it's a Sport Cub!

apparently the Flyzone Beaver hasn't been considered? Unbelievable plane for the price and features. probably still cheaper than what parkzone would charge

Flyzone don't sell very much of their range here in the UK at present, though I understand they have plans to expand.

Reminds me of a JustAircraft Highlander Super Stol.....which I have wanted to build since I first saw videos of it. I hope they release it soon and the price isn't out of reach.

What size do think or hope it will be? I need something under 43" to fit in my vehicle. I think a 35"er would be perfect.

I personally prefer a larger foamy (I want an extremely light wing loading), but it does look smallish.... so more than likely in the range you desire.

I wish Hobby King would have done a Joe Nall 2015 product review on this bird and given us a clue as to "when".

Somewhere I saw a photo of the label on the shipping box. That might have more information on size... It is somewhere in this site or flying giants coverage of Joe Nall and Hobbyking tent.
