Hands Up If You Would Like To See A GWS Fokker DR 1
Hi Guys,
Hands up all of you who would like to see GWS make a Fokker DR 1 Triplane? I am sure that GWS is quite capable of creating such a beautiful airplane . Perhaps even My Lin might see this post and if enough of us put our hands up he might be kind enough to consider making one and not only for us. But for the rest of the world who do not know of this forum. I for one think they would be very popular especially if they used the GWS 280 or 370 motor. Besides everyone who has some taste loves a warbird! In fact I personally have more warbird models than anything else and my current R/C model aircraft collection is standing at 38 models and still growing. People who are lucky enough to see my house say that I could open my own hobby shop with all the kits, motors and accessories I have scattered everywhere. They all think I am mad ! Regards Erica |

Me too....
I'd like to add to that list an SE5a, I just know it's coming as Shinichiro made an FMS replica that has GWS written all over it.. And an AVRO Arrowscout, c'mon Mr. Lin it's one of the most graceful and easy to duplicate out of foam sheet, pre WWI bipes going. |

Yeah, I'll bite though I already have "up in the air options" on Dr-1s from Kavan and Simprop and am smashing one out of a Lite Stick fuse and 2 LS kits.
The way I crash, I'll need all of 'em. RB |

Yes, but after the Stearman please.
Mr. Houng has already said that he has one on the drawing board. Quote:
I'd say GWS is off to a VERY good start. Struggling to exert patience, BC |

Of all the planes listed as possible additions to the GWS line, the Fokker DR-1 Triplane is my first choice followed by the ME-262.
Unfortunately, considering the current distribution scheme (via Horizon), I guess that we should expect an availability date of sometime in 2005. |
