ok I just got my traxxas slash 2x4 and it has a 7700kv motor do you think that i should get/replace the motor and get a new one and if so what size

I think you may have answered your own question, Cam...
Three part-breaking crashes on a new car kinda sorta suggests that you might want to hold off on a more powerful motor. Remember that power is nothing without control. If you add a more powerful motor, you now have to look at poor handling, excessive parts wear and serious expense in a crash. Are you sure that motor is 7700Kv? That's 7700 RPM per volt. Wow cam you just got burrrrned
and yes DismayingObservations it was actually a 7700Kv motor. He has replaced it with a 5700Kv |
