Davie's 1/10 Scale C-17 Successful Flight!




In case anyone hasn't heard, Davie's (in England) huge C-17 flew successfully recently. A friend sent me some pics of it in flight and it looks SO REAL!! It's a turbine jet but since it is a jet, I figured I'd post in here since some of us don't always look in the gasser forums.

Congrats Davie!!

Davie, I hope you don't mind me posting the pic for you. But it's very exciting and the word is rapidly spreading in the USAF community.

Simply amazing!!!

If that thing was mine it would never leave the ground... Four turbine engines and a couple grand at least in radio gear auguring into the ground should something happen would be the equivalent of driving my 4runner into a wall at 60 miles an our... only difference is my insurance would replace my 4runner...

Glad to see it in the air. Saw the c-17 befor it became in service at my base in the early 90's. Sweet looking bird.

Holy pants! That is STUNNING! I saw some of those pictures earlier and it was one incredible build! All from scratch too! There're some pretty amazing people out there!
