Outlet for a 9 tooth 48 pitch 2.3 mm pinion for a Shogun

Now that I have my B20-15L on its way now the next item I need to run down is a pinion for it. I've done some searching and there is hours of information but most that I have seen on the Zoom pinions is the for the HiMaxx and a 2 mm bore. Can someone point me in the right direction to get a 9 tooth pinion 2.3 mm in the states if possible to save on shipping or does anyone have an extra they could sell?

Thanks.....

Rick,

I gave up trying to find one for my Hacker B20 18L. I ended up buying two 2mm pinions and drilling them out to just under 2.3mm. They're brass and really soft and easy to drill. Suprisingly, they came out perfect! If you want to drill them out, I'll check later for the bit size (it was from a Dubro tap/drill set).
The pinions I used were from a local slot car track/store and are typically used in slot cars and are 48 pitch, which is what you need for the Shogun.
These pinions are actually a bit shorter than most pinions I've used in the past and even with my tail gear reversed, I had to use two pinions stacked together to completely engage both gears (where some people are using one regular pinion). If you do this, youhave to make sure the teeth on both pinions mate up perfectly, since the seam where the two pinions come together will ride on the main gear. If they're not matched up properly, you'll tear your main gear up.
Anyway, the whole thing worked out perfectly an I'm getting 13min flight times with the B20 18L, 9T pinion and ThunderPower 1320. I originally had the 10T pinion on the Hacker, but the batteries were getting too hot, besides, I picked up an extra two min of flight time with the 9T.

I "think" that like90 stock these already. It's worth emailing them or checking their website.

I thought about drilling out a 2 mm but only as a last resort. I have number bits so the correct size should not be a problem. Getting it true or centered was my concern.

I've never heard of like90 OzzieFlyer, do you have a web address? I'll at least check it out.

Thanks guys.....

www.like90.com

They do upgrades for micro helis and were getting some pinions specially made for the hb, aerohawks, dragonflys..etc. From memory they were the 48 pitch ones which are hard to find.
